This workshop is designed as a follow-up to Community-Grounded Interview Methodology and is for those wishing to collaboratively tell someone else’s story. Workshop may be taken individually after taking workshop 1 or as a part of the Comics for a Better World Workshop Series.
Learn principles of ethically responsible interviewing, collaboratively constructed permissions agreements, developing rapport, deep listening, and questioning to generate stories. May be taken individually or as a part of the Comics for a Better World Workshop Series.
Everyone is an artist. Whether you are an experienced illustrator or still draw the sun as a circle with lines sticking out of it, you can develop visual literacy to communicate the authentic emotional core of a story.
